Meditation and Counseling Session

MEDITATION AND COUSELING SESSION

Welcome to our meditation and counseling session. Today, we will focus on becoming aware of our thoughts and emotions, and learning how to manage them effectively.

First, we will start with a guided meditation. Find a comfortable sitting position and close your eyes. Inhale deeply through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

As you continue to breathe deeply and steadily, bring your attention to your body. Note any areas of tension or discomfort. Allow yourself to release any tension and let go of any distractions or thoughts.

Then bring your attention to your breath. Notice the sensation of the breath as it moves in and out of your body. Follow the breath as it goes in and out, letting go of any thoughts or distractions that may arise.

As you continue to focus on your breath, allow yourself to let go of any worries or concerns. Trust that the present moment is all you need to focus on.

Now bring your attention to your thoughts and emotions.

Notice any patterns or themes that may emerge. Allow yourself to acknowledge and accept them without judgment.

Remember, it’s okay to have negative thoughts and emotions. They are a natural part of being human. The key is learning how to manage them effectively.

After the meditation, we will move on to a counseling session where we will discuss ways to manage and deal with negative thoughts and emotions.
